Why AKS?

Just like many other program developers, who propagate the open source, one of the firsts in Lithuania we invite everybody to cope with an antique "for me and just for me" rudiment and to join the open source community.

We have already successfully dealt with many software developement challenges and we are seeking for new, even more complex ones, to carry out the best solution possible to our customer.

Many people think "Open source is free, it's not good; How can something be good for free? "

They are wrong. The answer is simple - the quality of a product is achieved through the process of practical application for the business needs. We charge our customers for the work involved in practical application, not for the license. If a lot of customers are using one open-source product, and someone orders development of new and useful feature, all customers benefit from that investment. And because this process is world-wide, we submit our updates to the mainstream, and all the companies in the world using this project receive useful updates.

So, even open-source is free it can successfully compete even the giants of the software market. No company can become as powerful as the community.
